Our Life Together

Hi I'm Allison. I am a wife, a mother, a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and much more! I am a 33 year old woman with a love for life. I am a simple person who loves the little things. I work in the Oil & Gas Industry and I love my job, but boy do I ever love being a mom! 

My husband and I met on a blind date on September 14, 2006 and basically started dating immediately and we moved in together about a month later. We both wanted children and didn't want to wait forever, having them sooner than later was our plan! We decided in March 2008 that we wanted to have a baby. I went off of birth control and we decided that if I got pregnant great, if not we weren't going to stress over it. I kept track of my next 12 cycles (in days) 35, 24, 26, 30, 25, 29, 22, 30, 27, 23, 31, 28. It became quite apparent that I was irregular and wasn't going to be able to predict when I ovulated. January 2009 and I still wasn't pregnant so we thought we would "try". I bought a ovulation test kit, a thermometer and Pre-Seed. January 23 was cycle day 1, and from there we started to "try". On February 25, 2009 I had a positive pregnancy test!  Our girl was born in November 2006!  We are now waiting on Baby 2.0 because we had a positive pregnancy test on April 16, 2016.
